NAMM 2016: Tracktion Corporation announce T7 and a ‘hot rod’ interface
Although there is no official information from Tracktion Corporation yet, their new T7 update was being proudly presented on their booth this morning. It features a completely new look (so it would be awesome to get some screenshots), an overhauled rack einvironment, multiple browsers for simultaneous auditioning, clip layers, plug-in thumbnails (yay!), automated setup assistants and all-new DSP effects.
Along with that they have what they describe as “a true audio hot rod”, the oddly named Copper Reference stereo audio interface with a pair of valves in the top. The valves apparently add character to the signal path for a superior sound. Details are sketchy but it should work with a Mac or PC over USB-C.
