NAMM 2016: B&G launch the Big Sister bass guitar
B&G announce their Big Sister four string bass. The company makes a truly unique looking instrument, each one is hand-made and they put a lot of time and effort into making each one. The company has been turning heads since last year’s Little Sister model and if you haven’t heard of them yet then now might be the time to go take a look.
The Big Sister has a unique chambered body design and lush looking 50’s nitro finish. The Big Sister is designed to offer supreme playability, rich sound and versatility. Together with its unique looks and light weight, the Big Sister stands out from the crowd as a beautiful working instrument that can fit in the toolbox of any musical genre.
The Big Sister is available either fretted or fretless, with Aguilar Singles or Aguilar Humbuckers. Honduras Mahogany neck and Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard are available at an extra charge.
The company create well-balanced, unique and original instruments. They even cast their own brass hardware from a unique alloy that conducts the fullest frequency range and they use thick brass pickup covers to isolate the coils instead of the cheap pressed tin covers used by other manufacturers.
Priced at USD 3450
