NAMM 2019: Abasi Concepts Larada evolves
The Animals as Leaders' player has new guitars concepts for 2019
Tosin Abasi’s Abasi Concepts guitar brand has had some pretty serious ups and downs recently with problems with luthiers and an online spat between Tosin and his old guitar builder. Luckily they appear to have recovered and were showing off new guitars at Winter NAMM.

Abasi Concepts has had the Larada guitar ‘design’ for some time now, unfortunately, Tosin Abasi has had a rather public falling out with Frank Falbo who owned the old company manufacturing his guitars, which seems to have been resolved now.
But, it did leave his company in an awkward position, because guitars that had been ordered had not been getting delivered to customers.

NAMM 2019 Larada Space Tele
During NAMM 2019 Tosin has been showing off a range of new 6-string, 7-string and 8-string models including one that derives from a Telecaster styled guitar provisionally called the ‘ Larada Space Tele’.

New Concepts
The Animals as Leaders‘ guitarist appears in good form below in the Premier Guitar video and talks about working with Grover Jackson, having high-quality digital printing as an option for guitar finishes and also manages to show off a plethora of ‘proof of concept‘ Larada guitars they have been working on.
