Those Fender Alternate Reality models just keep popping up! Unofficially this time though, but Fender dealers worldwide and now showing the new Alternate Reality XII 12-String and the pricing is good!
Fender Alternate Reality XII 12-String
This one is available as an alder body loaded with Fender XII split-coil pickups and a nifty adjustable 12-string bridge with individual saddles. So good luck with setting your intonation, it’ll take a while, but you can do it!

Hockey Stick
The guitar has a Modern C-shaped neck profile and the comfy 9.5”-radius fingerboard we all can get along with. You’ll want that for chording on this guitar, believe me. The neck is maple with a Pau Ferro fretboard loaded with 22 medium jumbo frets. Of course, they all have the classic ‘hockey stick’ headstock, the same as the old vintage Fenders of the ’60s.
You can order it in Lake Placid Blue, Olympic White or 3-Colour Sunburst.

Bargain 12
This is a great looking guitar and we need more like it. The price is perfect for what you are getting and we finally get a few decent colour choices for a Fender 12-string model.
Fender UK dealers are listing the Alternate Reality XII 12-Sting at £859, so it should sell well I think. Now it is time to dust off your old Byrds riffs!
