NAMM 2020: New Friedman amps: Twin Sister, Jake E. Lee and Steve Stevens
Friedman Amplification announces three new all-tube heads; a new Jake E. Lee model, an updated Steve Stevens and a ‘Double Dirty Shirley’ called the Twin Sister Head.
Triple Head Release
Winter NAMM is the time of year we all get to drool over Dave Friedman’s new amp heads. His all-tube monster tone machines are some of the best valve amps in the world. Boutique takes on classic Plexi designs, with more punch, gain and thump.
Twin Sister
This year Friedman has a new dual-channel version of his already popular 40 watt head the Dirty Shirley, called the Twin Sister.
New and updated Signature Heads for 2020
We also get a new Jake E. Lee signature head and a tweaked, updated Steve Stevens head.
You can hear Jake E. Lee talking about his new signature head below on Friedman’s Facebook page, or watch the Premier Guitar video where they talk to Dave Friedman about all three of these new models.
We know the limited edition red Jake E. Lee signature head will be limited to 100 units signed, with 50 in the US and the other 50 for Europe.
We will bring you more official details on these new models as they become available. For now, I suggest you check out the videos below to hear them all in action, and listen to Dave’s descriptions of their circuits/tone.
