NAMM 2020: Rivolta realigns with Novo Guitars; new body shape imminent!
This year marks the realignment of the Rivolta brand with Novo Guitars. The idea is to place the popular import line alongside the higher-end, American-made Novo instruments.
Rivolta Guitars to merge with Novo Guitars
World-renowned luthier and boutique builder, Dennis Fano recently announced a ‘Realignment’ of the Rivolta brand of guitars (also designed by him) with his own company, Novo Guitars, based in Nashville, TN.
“Since launching 2015, Rivolta has continued to exceed our growth expectations, and over this time it has become clear to us that the natural progression would be to reposition the brand under the Novo Guitars umbrella,”
“This not only allows us to showcase Rivolta alongside our US built Novo instruments, but also bring everything from inspection, set-up, shipping and distribution to our factory facility and head offices here in Nashville, TN. We are proud to announce that all Rivolta guitars from 2020 will now feature the Novo Guitars’ name on the headstock.”- Dennis Fano
Along with a few upgrades, all new Rivolta guitars will now have a ‘Rivolta by Novo Guitars’ logo on the headstock.
Novo Guitars announces new body shape for 2020
But there’s more interesting news. Novo Guitars is going to release a brand new model featuring their first new body shape in 4 years.
Both brands already make some absolutely cracking guitars, so it will be really interesting to see how this all pans out in 2020 and I must say that I’m intrigued to see the new body shape for Novo Guitars.
This news is quite exciting for the world of boutique guitars and I will fill you all in once we have more information on this new bodyshape.
Rivolta by Novo Guitars will be exhibiting at the Winter NAMM show at booth #2342 in exhibitor hall E.
