NAMM 2020: Schecter reveals new Silver Mountain and PT Pro guitars
Schecter has announced two eye-popping new ranges, the top-spec Silver Mountain and mid-range PT Pro electric guitars!
Schecter debuts new NAMM 2020 models
USA-based Schechter Guitars has just added two new guitar series to its website ahead of the NAMM Show in January.
Silver Mountain Series
The eye-catching new guitars have mahogany bodies with arched tops, mahogany necks with three-piece carbon fibre reinforcement. They also have a nice dark ebony fingerboard with Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots.
On the hardware side you get a Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and nut, Grover Rotomatic tuners and black hardware throughout. These guitars come loaded with Schecter’s newly designed Sonic Seducer humbucker in the bridge and a Sustainiac in the neck.
The finish is the obvious standout of this series! It grabs your attention and doesn’t let go.The various iterations across this new series include extended range instruments, too. Roll on NAMM 2020!

PT Pro Series
The guitars of the Schecter PT Pro Series come in either a bold purple or blue finish, also a choice of finishes that makes a statement. These models feature an an alder body with a quilted maple top in either a Transparent Purple Burst or Transparent Blue Burst. The thin “C’ profile roasted maple neck has a choice of fingerboards depending on the finish colour; the blue version has a roasted maple fingerboard while the purple variation comes with an ebony one instead.
These instruments are loaded with a Schecter PT-H Pro bridge, Schecter locking tuners, a Graph Tech Black Tusq nut, glow-in-the-dark side-dot markers and black hardware throughout.
