NAMM 2020: Torpedo Captor X from Two Notes Audio Engineering
Reactive load box, DI and much, much more
The new Torpedo Captor X from Two Notes Audio Engineering is an all-in-one reactive load box, tube amp attenuator, cab simulator, IR loader and stereo expander. Perfect for guitarists that need a flexible recording and live solution for their guitar tone.
Fire Torpedos!
The brand new Torpedo Captor X will allow users to go directly to either a PA or an audio interface, making it perfect for DAW use. It comes with studio-grade cabinet simulations using Two Notes Virtual Cabinets and is also able to handle 3rd party impulse responses.
Torpedo Captor X
The unit is also a reactive load box as well as a tube amp attenuator, so players can simply plug in and crank their tube amps to their heart’s content without going deaf. And in case you want to use your high-wattage tube amp in silence, simply plug in your headphones.
Twin Tracker
There’s also the Twin Tracker feature, which is a real-time double tracker and a handy stereo reverb, with three routing options – Stereo, Dual Mono and Dry / Wet. The Torpedo Captor X can also pair with your smart phone, tablet, computer or MIDI controller for even more options.
This looks amazing and could be a great tool for working musicians. I love it!
