NAMM 2021: PRS SE Custom 24-08 and Zach Myers signature
New body carve for PRS SE 2021
PRS has just announced a major overhaul of its SE line for 2021 at NAMM. Among the new gear for PRS fans to drool over are new Core Series pickups, new colours, a new body carve and a brand new PRS SE Custom 24-08 model. Oh, and an updated SE Zach Myers signature guitar. Let’s dive in!
PRS SE Custom 24-08
First up is this eye-catching new PRS SE Custom 24-08. It’s loaded with a set of the twin humbucking pickups with added pickup switching options via two mini toggle switches, for increased tonal variations. Available in a jaw-dropping Eriza Verde and a Vintage Sunburst finish and utilising the new SE shallow violin body carve, this is sure to have PRS devotees’ hearts (and wallets) aflutter.

PRS SE Custom 24
Another model with the new SE shallow violin body carve, and twi humbucker pickups. Also new is a rainbow of new colour options, some of which are really eye-popping. All that adds up to an impressive overhaul of this favourite SE model. The new finishes include Black Gold Burst, Bonnie Pink and Faded Blue Burst.

PRS SE Zach Myers
This SE Zach Myers signature model has had a bit of a reboot for 2021 in a new Myers Blue finish with a matching Myers Blue figured maple headstock veneer. Now add in a set of vintage-style tuning pegs with black buttons and all-black pickup bobbins to the mix and you have an appealing new for what was, to be fair, already a great-looking signature guitar.

PRS SE 2021
There are certainly some great updates for 2021 for the PRS SE lineup and if you haven’t seen it yet, make sure you check out the PRS 2021 Launch party video below. It’s pretty lengthy, but it gives you the lowdown on on these new models. Watch out for the Silver Sky Lunar Ice model and the brand new Mark Lettieri signature Fiore model, which looks ace.
