NAMM 2023: Eastman Juliet LA Celestine Blue
Now in Celestine Blue with new pickups and vibrato system
The Eastman Juliet LA Celestine Blue takes the offset model released in 2022 and refines it even further. Adding new pickup and a great new vibrato system to the formula.
Juliet LA Celestine Blue
Eastman’s latest Juliet LA in Celestine Blue is a great-looking offset guitar and I think the finish really suits this guitar design beautifully. It follows on stylistically from 2021’s Romeo LA model and looks just as good.
Gold Foil
This year for NAMM 2023, the model has had some very tasteful updates to the formula, including a new set of Seymour Duncan Phat Cat P-90 pickups with Gold Foil Radiator covers. Again, I think this aesthetic really suits the style of this model and complements it well.
Göldo Les Trem system
And for 2023 this Celestine Blue incarnation is offered with a Göldo Les Trem system paired with a Göldo 3-Point Vario “moving” bridge. The bridge and vibrato is paired with a set of Göldo K-Line locking tuners and so tuning should be very stable.
Construction consists of a solid Okoume body paired with a one-piece Okoume neck and an ebony fretbaord with a 12″ radius. The fretboard has 22 Jescar FW47104-P frets and a bone nut.
An inlaid black acrylic pickguard completes the style along with nickel hardware throughout.
Overall, I think this offset design looks very good and I am looking forward to trying one out at some point in the near future.
