Neural Quad Cortex OS update CorOS 1.1.0 adds new effects and more
New update for the Quad Cortex
The new Neural DSP firmware update, CorOS 1.1.0, adds new effects and more, to its Quad Cortex floor modeller system.
Neural Quad Cortex CorOS 1.1.0
This latest update provides the Neural Quad Cortex with new CorOS 1.1.0 firmware and adds Digital Flanger and Shimmer patches. The reverb and delay modules have been optimised as well, so now you can have more instances to run within a given patch. You also have a 25 per cent faster boot time, along with an improved USB audio performance with both MacOS and Windows.
Plus, you have some performance updates, which means you can now bypass and automatically engage expression pedals.
Minor bug fixes
The update also addresses a few other minor issues. These include the Cab Sim’s level display, which now reads OFF when set to minimum instead of -12dB, and the built-in tuner now works properly when the FREQ parameter is set to any value other than 440 Hz. Another issue where outputs would get swapped or muted randomly upon boot, has now been fixed as well.
You can download the CorOS 1.1.0 firmware directly from the company site from the link below. As ever, back up any of your work before undertaking this process.
