Ernie Ball Music Man has added three great new sparkling finishes to its signature model for Maroon 5 guitarist, James Valentine. You can now get the EBMM Valentine model in Pink Champagne, Maroon Burst, and Tobacco Sparkle.
Sparkling Valentine
Ernie Ball Music Man now offers the Valentine model in Pink Champagne, Maroon Burst, and Tobacco Sparkle, and each of these new sparkling finishes is pretty stunning. You also get gold hardware with the Pink Champagne Sparkle edition, whereas the other finishes come with chrome hardware instead. The gold hardware and Pink Champagne finish have a $100 premium though, on both the trem and hardtail versions. The Valentine originally model came out in 2016 and is based around an ash body, with a figured roasted maple neck.

Wiring
The guitar comes fitted with a set of EBMM custom pickups. You get a single-coil in the bridge position and a humbucker in the neck. These are wired via a three-way pickup switch, with a volume knob that has an active boost of up to 20dB, plus a tone knob with coil-split for the neck humbucker, both accessed via a push-push pot.
Hardtail or Tremolo
You can get all three of these sparkling new colorways in both the hardtail version and the tremolo-loaded edition of this signature model. Both versions come with a set of the Schaller M6-IND locking tuners.

Do it all guitar?
I have always found Ernie Ball Music Man guitars to be very well made, so I can only imagine that these should be great players straight out the box. If you want something to turn heads then these three new colours will certainly do just that. But which one would you choose? Pink Champagne, Maroon Burst, or Tobacco Sparkle?
