New Swissonic audio interfaces include free vocal and guitar plugins
Until January 8, you can get the Swissonic Audio 1 and Audio 2 interfaces with iZotope Nectar Elements and IK Multimedia AmpliTube 5 SE included free.
This means you have a great starting kit for recording and processing vocals and guitars. Let’s take a closer look!
Swissonic Audio 1
The Audio 1 is an entry-level USB 2 interface with two inputs, providing one XLR mic pre and a TRS line/instrument input.
On the front panel, you have access to all the basic controls, including gain/trim, headphones level, and master level.
Meanwhile, each respective channel is also equipped with phantom power and Hi-Z switches.
In addition, the rear panel has switches to set your recording source and flip between mono and stereo monitoring.
- You can get the Swissonic Audio 1 from Thomann with the bundled iZotope and IK Multimedia software until January 8
Swissonic Audio 2
The slightly upscale Audio 2 has all the same features, but the controls are all on the front panel for easy access.
This includes a pair of XLR combo inputs with independent gain/trim controls and Hi-Z switches. You can flip between monitoring in mono or stereo and mix between direct and DAW monitoring.
Both models also have a useful mobile device I/O, allowing you to easily incorporate smartphones or tablets into your streaming or podcasting workflow.

Lol no midi.
Christ, USB-C power but USB-B to PC? What the hell. Can USB-B die already?
Why the USB B hate?
It’s fine for something like this.
It’s a much more robust connection.
I get Micro USB hate, that’s useless and will nearly always fail. It’s why I hardly use my Beatstep Pro.
