NI Maschine MK3 and Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2 keyboard: could it be?
UPDATE: MASCHINE Mk3 has now been officially announced, get more info here!
Casually strolling through the Native Instruments forum, we stumbled upon this thread, depicting what could be major upgrades to the Berlin company’s Maschine production system and Komplete Kontrol MIDI controller.
Allegedly, these images were leaked earlier today by a news outlet, and promptly taken down. The photos certainly look believable, and if they happen to be showing truth, then fans of these products will be thrilled. First off, both devices have been endowed with the sexy full-blown color OLED displays NI debuted with the Maschine Studio controller. They also have much bigger and spacious buttons (probably backlit), and look generally sturdier.
We can’t help but wonder why would Native Instruments ditch the touch strips on the Komplete Kontrol keyboard, though. Ah, well. We’ll probably get some answers on this soon. Do you like what you see in these images? We think they look badass!
More on this breaking story as we get it!
