Although the UK tech company Nothing is known mostly as an iPhone alternative manufacturer, it has also created some futurist-inspired earbuds for consumers.

With its curvature-embracing design, the Ear (open) takes a slightly different approach to most wireless earbuds you’ll find on the market. Each of the ear hooks is built with a flexible and durable nickel-titanium wire, and its triangular shape provides balance to its structure.

It may not look inobtrusive at first, but once fitted you’ll find that the Ear (open) is lightweight (8.1g each earbud) and has been created for comfort in any situation, be it working on your laptop or exercising.

More Information

As the low-distortion titanium-coated speaker diaphragm is tilted at 50 degrees, the sound dispersion is optimized for your ears. To stay consistent with the design, the driver’s materials are 30% lighter than the average set of earbuds.

However, this results in clear and detailed reproduction in the midrange and high frequencies. Meanwhile, the automatic bass enhancement algorithm optimizes the audio for the best listening experience possible.

When fully charged, the Nothing Ear (open) earbuds will give you up to 30 hours of playback, with a mere 10-minute charge providing up to 2 hours. The built-in microphone system uses what Nothing refers to as “AI-enhanced Clear Voice Technology” to deliver the best speech intelligibility in any environment.

For gamers, there is a latency-reducing Low Lag Mode that keeps the audio latency below 120 ms. In addition, the accompanying Nothing X mobile app allows you to adjust the EQ and select different settings for your taste.
