The new Orange OR30 is a UK-built all-tube amp head rated at 30 watts of power. Yet, it will probably have more volume than a lot of 100-watt amp heads, due to the way it is made If you want pure tube tone, this could be for you.

The Orange OR30 tube amp is the latest creation of Ade Emsley and is seriously powerful. Don’t let the 30W rating mislead you, this is one super loud amp if you need it to be.

Single Channel
This Class A, single-channel guitar amp has some great tweaks to the formula to make it versatile and not just a one-trick pony.
It has controls for Presence, Footswitch Volume Volume Treble, Mid, Bass, Gain and a Bright Switch.

Tube Power
It features a 5AR4 tube rectifier, 3 x 12AX7 preamp/phase inverter, a single 12AU7 in the fx loop and 4 x EL84 power amp tubes. This guitar amp can create some pretty serious sound pressure levels and is possibly not for the faint-hearted.
Thankfully, the output can be knocked down from 30W to 2W making it usable off-stage as well.

Twin Volumes
Yes, it is a single-channel amp. But it has a very useful secondary volume setting which is activated with a footswitch giving this single-channel amp a lot more flexibility and control than you might have expected.
Then a three-way bright switch makes this amp a perfect platform for stompboxes in one position or as a fine-treble boost to interact with the tone stack or finally what they describe as broad-treble fizz to help cut through the mix.
Finally, the Presence control has been designed to work well at all volumes and not just at full volume. Making it a great way to control your tone. Most standard presence controls use negative feedback, but Ade has designed this one to be far more usable.
The new Orange OR30 is available in both orange and black finishes.
