Pin matrix systems and similar modular routing devices are everywhere at the moment and another one has just turned up on this cool looking briefcase synth from Pin Electronics. The specs are pretty basic offering a single voice single oscillator, filter, envelope and then two LFOs. The magic comes in the 10 x 10 pin matrix housed within a touch screen interface.

They are not giving a whole lot away so far with just a brief YouTube video to give us a flavour of how radical the matrix-based modulation on the MIASMAcan be. Just stick in a virtual pin and see what happens.
