Pittsburgh Modular tease us with silver knobs
In a single tweet Pittsburgh Modular have sent us all aflutter over the possibility of a new synthesizer coming this August. The ridiculously angled and deliberately teasing photo is captioned:
“August … stay tuned #eurorack #modularsynth #synth”
It looks a lot like the form factor of their LifeForms range of Eurorack systems, but with those shiny silver knobs. There appears to be a row of buttons along the leading edge which we could assume would be sequencer related. Or they could be some kind of simple button keyboard.
Pittsburgh Modular, although only being around for a few years, have quickly made a name for themselves in terms of build and sound quality. So anything new from them is worth keeping an eye on.
Nothing on their website about it but you can be sure we’ll be monitoring the situation and will bring you more news when it arrives.
