Fishman has announced Tim Henson and Scott Lepage custom signature pickups, giving both the Polyphia guitarists the tones they need. Offering three distinct voices for each set.
Tim Henson
Tim Henson’s dual humbucker Fishman set was designed in conjunction with the Polyphia guitarist. He is a very technical player and needs something that will react well to his playing dynamics and phrasing.
They are based on an Alnico V bar magnet and pole piece design.

Three Voices
With this set, the bridge humbucker offers a “hot-rodded Classic voice” for high-gain tones. It has three voices available, as has the neck pickup.
- Voice 1: Based on a hot-rodded Classic voice
- Voice 2: Combination of Tim’s favourite bridge humbuckers
- Voice 3: Tim’s ideal single coil combination tone when used in conjunction with neck coil
The neck humbucker is voiced to give what they describe as a hyper-clean, nylon string substitute. Plus, they have single-coil tones available as well. Described as being voiced for Tim’s fluid neck single-coil..
- Voice 1: Thick and smooth neck humbucker
- Voice 2: Hyper-clean, nylon string surrogate
- Voice 3: Tim’s fluid neck single coil
Available with black or white covers.

Scott Lepage
Scott Lepage has a similar set based on the same Alnico V design. Again, the bridge pickup has a hot-rodded humbucker thing going on and has been voiced like a PAF.
When in single-coil voicing it offers an overwound single-coil tone.
- Voice 1 (Vintage PAF): Calibrated vintage PAF bridge humbucker tone.
- Voice 2 (Classic Hot Rod): Hot-rodded bridge humbucker tone.
- Voice 3 (Slightly Overwound Single Coil)

Vintage PAF voicing
They have also voiced the neck pickup like a vintage PAF humbucker. They describe this one as offering unreal highs, vocal midrange, and tight lows.
Again you can put it into a single-coil mode, which offers a clear vintage-style single-coil tone.
- Voice 1 (Vintage PAF): PAF neck tone with the dynamics and output level you want.
- Voice 2 (Clear, airy chime): A Fluence-exclusive neck tone, with unreal highs, vocal midrange, and tight lows.
- Voice 3 (Clear, Vintage Single Coil)
Available with black or white covers, both colours come with gold pole pieces.
Both sets can be powered by a battery or rechargeable lithium-ion battery (sold separately).

Both these sets are the same pickups that are fitted to Tim’s TOD10 and Scott’s KRYS10 signature Ibanez guitars.
