Exclusive run of nitro finished PRS CE24 models for Europe
It looks like PRS Europe has issued yet another exclusive run of guitars. This time we’re looking at the PRS CE 24 Smokeburst Limited Run.
PRS CE 24 Smokeburst Limited Run
The run contains only 200 guitars and each one is fitted with a set of PRS US 85/15 pickups. All the guitars are built in Maryland, USA and come with ebony fingerboards. You can order them in one of five finishes that includes Faded Purple Smokeburst, Faded Grey Black Smokeburst, Faded Jade Smokeburst, Faded Fire Red Smokeburst and Faded Blue Smokeburst.
The finish is nitrocellulose satin, so these guitars should look pretty smooth and age nicely as well. The guitars feature all the standard CE24 specifications you would expect, so you get 24 frets, a PRS trem system and PRS locking tuners and whatnot.
Price-wise, it looks as though they will be the same as the regular models, so could be a nice choice for those players looking for something a little bit different to the norm.
After the announcement of the European exclusive last month of the PRS SE Custom 24 with Roasted Maple necks it looks like it could be a great year for European fans of PRS. These models haven’t yet appeared on the PRS Europe page, but I’m sure they will arrive there in the next few days.
