The PRS SE CE 24, SE Swamp Ash Special, and the SE Custom 24 Quilt are three new models added to the company’s SE lineup. Adding new colours and models to the popular affordable guitar line. With two new bolt-on neck models with a new neck join.
SE CE 24
The PRS SE CE 24 adds the CE model (originally from 1988 )to the PRS SE Series for the first time. It is great to see this much-loved model finally make it to the SE lineup.

Ergonomic
Both the SE CE 24 and SE Swamp Ash Special feature a new, ergonomic heel design, which is contoured for a comfortable playing experience higher up on the neck.
“When we were designing these guitars, I took an early prototype home and carved the heel by hand. The Engineering team here made some improvements and programmed that shape for our partners at PT Cort. We think players will appreciate the ease of access this design brings,” – Jack Higginbotham, COO.

Bolt-On
The CE 24 has a maple top, mahogany back, and a rosewood fretboard with a 25” scale length bolt-on maple neck. It comes fitted with a pair of PRS 85/15 “S” humbuckers and the patented PRS tremolo bridge.
Available in four colours: Black Cherry, Blood Orange, Turquoise, and Vintage Sunburst.

SE Swamp Ash Special
Next up is the PRS SE Swamp Ash Special and as the name suggests this one has a swamp ash body and 22-fret maple neck with a maple fretboard.

Three Pickups
This guitar comes with both neck and bridge 85/15 “S” humbuckers with a PRS-Designed AS-01 Single Coil “S” pickup in the middle position. It also has a push/pull tone control, volume, and a 3-way pickup switch.
It is available in Charcoal, Iri Blue, and Vintage Sunburst finishes.

SE Custom 24 Quilt
Finally, there is the PRS SE Custom 24 Quilt, this model has a quilted maple veneer and a matching stained quilted maple headstock veneer.

Ebony
It comes with a mahogany body and neck, with an ebony fretboard with abalone bird inlays. This Custom 24 model is available in Black Gold Burst, Turquoise, and Violet finishes.
