Quilter DirectAmp
Designed for the modern musician, the Quilter DirectAmp boasts a sleek, compact design that fits effortlessly into any gig bag. Despite its small size, it packs a punch with three legendary amp voices, a customisable speaker and cab simulations, and a suite of professional-grade effects.
Amp Voicings
The unit allows guitarists to channel the spirit of Marshall, Vox, and Fender with three classic amp voices: JMP, AC15 and Fender. This covers all basic amp types and should make this compact pedal viable for players needing a lightweight amp solution.
Users can create their ideal sound with Celestion and Jensen speaker options and various cab types. These include the Celestion Classic Lead 80, Celestion Vintage 30 and Jensen speakers. Then, they can shape their tone with gain, limiter, 3-band EQ, and reverb.
Wireless
Quilter DirectAmp can also do wireless. With the ability to wirelessly stream music from your smartphone or tablet, playing along with your favourite pieces is now child’s play. Thanks to the newly developed wireless input, which accepts Apple Lossless and APTX Lossless codecs, you can play in the best audio quality.
This feature will make playing with backing tracks easy for anyone with a smart device.
Ease of Use
The pedal features four footswitches for gain, limiter, reverb, and boost. The DirectAmp can be easily combined with all your favourite pedals via the mono FX send and a stereo FX return. It should be easy to use live, as it covers all the basics.
It has main controls for Master, Reverb, Treble, Mid, Bass, Limiter, Gain, Boost, and Output.
Plus, it is all nicely laid out and has an easy-to-read white text against the blue background. It has a TRS stereo headphone output and an XLR stereo output so that you will be equally happy at home or on stage. Making it a flexible unit for many musicians.
