Rachael: Preorders open on Black Corporations Ring Modulating Deckard’s Voice companion
First announced two years ago Rachael is an analogue companion to the Deckard’s Voice offering Ring Modulation, an envelope, LFO and VCO.
Rachael
Rachael brings a classic Ring Modulation effect to your rack. It has a dedicated internal oscillator with Square, CSAW, and Sine waveforms that’s normalled to the reference oscillator input to produce ring mod tones with your oscillator signal. However, you can also pull the internal oscillator out on its own, control it with a 1v/Oct input, or use it as an LFO with speed and depth control.
The top row of those lovely-looking sliders that mirror the Deckard’s Voice and Deckard’s Dream offers a classic ADSR envelope with depth control. It differs from the uniquely Yamaha envelope on the Deckard’s Voice. Each stage can be voltage controlled to keep things moving. The envelope acts on the reference oscillator or you can also bring this out to modulate other stuff.

Rachael starts off as a cool Ring Mod but rapidly emerges with all sorts of facets and features that weren’t immediately obvious. This is going to look fantastic next to a Deckard’s Voice and pretty decent as a stylish and elegantly interesting module for any rack.
Preorders are open now for $349 and all they need is a $99 deposit and the balance will be taken when they ship in August.
