Rewired Records 3x Deluxe Pro VST: A little bit more EDM in your synth
3x Deluxe Pro VST has a little bit more modulation, a bit more bounce and more effects than the regular version from Rewired Records, the masters of cheap and cheerful EDM VSTi’s.
3X Deluxe Pro VST
Rewired Records (or maybe Infected Sounds; I’m never quite sure which is the developer) is unstoppable in the creation of software synthesizer variations on a theme. Packed full of presets and rejigged into another slightly different take on your classic EDM sound source. The 3x Deluxe Pro is the bigger brother of the 3x Deluxe and for a few more Euros you get an expanded effects section and more modulation.
The basic setup is that you have 3 oscillators that can be populated with any of the 180 available waveforms. There’s a “Fat/Fast” mode for instant unison action. You then have a pitch envelope which is rather neat, before feeding into a filter with 12 modes. You have separate amp and filter envelopes and 8 LFOs that have destinations all over the place.
The bottom section has a bunch of effects all out on the table including a Decimator, Vowel Filter and Overdrive.
It sounds exactly as you’d imagine it sounds.

The extra modulation and effects certainly give it an edge over the original version and for an introductory price of €11.19 (usually €15.99) there’s really nothing to complain about. My only struggle is to find definable differences between the various synths. They are cheap and cheerful synth sound sources that do the job and there’s nothing wrong with that.
