Roland VMH-S100: V-Drums Headphones for Music Production?
Roland's latest closed-back headphones for music producers.
The new Roland VMH-S100 is a lightweight and durable headphone design built to provide hours of comfortable use for music production.
With the same hexagonal shape, driver size, and single-sided cable routing as the VMH-D1 V-Drums Headphones, the VMH-S100 delivers premium performance with excellent isolation for recording in your home studio.
Roland VMH-S100
The VMH-S100 uses newly developed 50 mm drivers that deliver a maximum SPL of 101.5 dB with a frequency response of 5 – 40.000 Hz. The circumaural, closed-back design allows for the replacement of the 3D-sewn ear pads, which makes the VMH-S100 a great sustainable option.
Designed to provide cohesive and consistent monitoring for all studio operations (recording, mixing, and mastering), the VMH-S100 has a present and detailed sonic profile that will allow you to hear the full extent of your mixes.
Included in the delivery, are two cables (3-meter and 1.5-meter), a stereo jack adapter, and a useful carry pouch for protection. Overall, the VMH-S100 promises to be a great set of cans for beatmakers, with a nice degree of comfort, good isolation, and great sonics.
However, the VMH-D1 has similar specs at half the price. So, I’d love to do a comparison between the two to find out what that $150 difference is.
