Seymour Duncan PowerStage 100 Stereo – Class D Amp
New stereo portable 100 watt amp
The Seymour Duncan PowerStage 100 Stereo is the latest iteration of the compact stereo amp and follows on from the 200 Stereo released last May.
PowerStage 100 Stereo
Seymour Duncan’s PowerStage 100 Stereo allows guitarists to travel light and still have a flexible stereo amp rig.
As the name suggests, the PowerStage 100 Stereo offers a whopping 100 watts per side. In addition, stereo inputs and outputs. This makes the device perfect for amplifying the sound of modeling amps on stage. Perfect, for modern touring musicians and just practical on so many levels, as it will fit in a gigbag.
It manages to stay lightweight due to the Class D technology so won’t break your back either.

EQ
The PowerStage 100 Stereo comes with an extended EQ section and symmetrical line outputs with switchable analog speaker simulation for a more authentic projection through any sound system.
Stereo is the future
It is a technology like this that helps guitarists out a lot. As we have seen recently with the KMA Machines’ latest release the Endgame, stereo is a popular way for guitar players to set up live.
An amp to check out if you are touring, as it could be great as a main amp, and perfect as a backup as well.
Price
The Seymour Duncan PowerStage 100 Stereo costs 629 euros*.

I’m seriously considering this SD stereo 100 to power the stereo spatial effects in my 1961 Fender Showman (dry) WET/DRY/WET rig.
