The Softube Console 1 Fader MK3 is a DAW control Starship Enterprise
A professional touch-sensitive fader controller.
The Softube Console 1 Fader MK3 is a new ultra-responsive DAW fader controller with haptic feedback and high-resolution displays.
With the Channel MK III, the Fader MK III forms Softube’s Console 1 Mixing System, a comprehensive control system for DAW operations and plug-in control.
Softube Console 1 Fader MK3
Like the MK I, there are still 10 faders but the MK III introduces some swanky new technology in the form of Analog Feel™. The touch-sensitive faders have a 0.2 mm resolution and haptic feedback, giving you the most console-like experience possible.
Furthermore, above each fader, you’ll find a high-res screen that provides a complete channel overview with metering. For quick DAW setups, there are four basic operating modes: Console 1, Pro Tools HUI, Generic MCU, and Apollo Central.
In addition, the Fader MK III offers direct Cubase and Logic Pro integration and control mappings for Ableton Live, Studio One, LUNA, Samplitude, Reaper, Bitwig, Mixbus, FL Studio, and Cakewalk.
What’s exciting is that with dual USB-C ports, you can now daisy-chain up to 4 units for an extensive control solution. The controls are more complete than ever, with quick access to 6 sends per channel.
Meanwhile, there are mounting options so you can join forces with the Channel MK III for the ultimate DAW control solution. Overall, the Console 1 system is impressive and provides some healthy competition for the SSL DAW controllers.

Wowsers! What a pointless lump! 😲
And for only $1200!
At least make it a kool colour.
My Korg nano thingy (painter with nail varnish) laughs in this things face 😂
Wowsers, what a pointless comment! Do you have any idea what a great controller this is? For all the features and built quality it’s fairly priced. And it looks like it should: understated but professional. But if you are toying around with Korg nano thingies, I understand this is not for you.
Motorised fader have always cost a lot of money…. even the X-touch (bulky, with basic LCD screens and far lesser components) starts at 500€
It’s a normal price for a well built motorised fader controller… These are sophisticated components targeted at a niche market of pro engineers so… yeah it costs a lot.
