It can, of course, run as free as you like with three ranges of frequency and a DIV/FREQ knob to wind in the intensity. In Sync mode the same knob becomes a clock divider to change things up and down a gear. The clock is set via the Tap input which can pull a frequency from any incoming signal, although clocks and triggers are good! In both modes that input can be used to modulate the frequency via the D/F attenuator.

Each side of the LFO is identical and offers 8 waveforms with all the usual suspects and then an interesting stepped triangle at the end plus a  sample & hold style Random/Noise option. A new voltage is generated every time it receives a clock pulse at the Tap input and more depending on the multiplying/dividing ratio. The waveforms can be selected via CV but don’t morph from one to another.

Both unipolar and bipolar outputs are supplied and SoundForce strongly recommends modulating one LFO with the other for some serious waveform shinanigans.

This looks like a solid, useful and intentional LFO that can sync and move in helpful and musical ways. The price is €179 ex VAT and is available now.
