With SSL Module8, you get a selection of six modulation effects with two additional return effects for a creative processing melting pot.
One of the first things you’ll notice about Module8 is its simple and intuitive interface. Because it isn’t based on one particular hardware unit, the design is not governed by the same rules as many other SSL plug-ins.

The six modulation effects include Phaser, Flanger, Chorus, Tremolo, Vibrato, and Panner. At the top of each effect module, there is the power button to disengage the effect, a solo button, and the option to drag and drop any one effect anywhere in the signal chain.
This functionality alone makes Module8 a really powerful creative tool. Even as a complete beginner, by simply flipping through the presets you can find sounds you like. Then, simply isolate the modules to find out what is really causing the changes in the sound.
In addition, each of the six effects modules has its own LFO with eight different LFO shape settings including a global mode. This makes it possible to assign all the effects to the global LFO for unified modulation effects.
Furthermore, there are also two send effects below the main six modules. These include a Lo-Fi processor with saturation and a Space reverb effect that has a useful pre-delay control.
Global controls also include modulation depth, stereo width, and wet/dry mix aside from the input and output gain controls you find on most of the SSL plug-ins.
