The new Strandberg Boden Bass Standard 4 has a lightweight basswood body and the top is finished with a flamed maple veneer. It has a bolt-on quartersawn roasted maple neck reinforced with carbon and walnut, making it very stable.
EndurNeck
The EndurNeck neck profile and ergonomic body design ensure comfortable handling even during longer playing periods.
The multi-scale design keeps your wrist relaxed across the entire playing range. A longer scale length for the heavier strings ensures a better tone; a shorter one for the thinner strings ensures better playability. The Luminlay fretboard inlays and side markings allow you to see where you are playing on dark stages, etc.
Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar
The bass is powered by Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar pickups (neck and bridge). These high-quality pickups deliver a clear, focused sound that can be adjusted to suit the situation. With a 2-band preamp, you can individually adjust the highs and lows.
Another feature is the volume control with push/pull function for the coil split, which allows you to choose between active and passive sound options.
This is complemented by a 3-way toggle switch for the voice selection, which gives you even more flexibility and control over your sound. The blend control ensures you can get the best out of both pickups.
