AKG C414
The AKG C414 has a legacy that dates back to the early 1970s. Since then many changes have come into the design including the capsule being replaced with one that is easier to manufacture and moving toward a transformerless circuit.
Today, you have two options for the famous multipattern condenser: the brighter and more modern-sounding C414 XLII, or the darker C414 XLS which sounds more reminiscent of the vintage 414s from the 1980s and earlier.

Why show dollar prices, while Thomann is a German store? Better use Euro or even Pounds. The RME Fireface III is way higher in Euro for instance, just my 2 cents
Hi Daniel. We show deals prices in dollars, as a significant portion of our readers are from the USA.
Clicking the affiliate link will take you to the Thomann store where you choose your country and preferred currency and get a price including shipping and fees.
We hope in future to be able to show the price on screen that matches your country. Until then, we settled on $ as an international currency.
