AKG C414
When it’s time to step up your home studio to a more professional level, a workhorse condenser microphone like the C414 is a great starting point. The C414 was introduced in the early 1970s and uses a capsule based on the famous CK12.
There are two versions you can get your hands on today, including the more modern-sounding XLII and the slightly darker XLS. Each offers multipattern functionality for a range of applications and they are also available in matched stereo pairs.
Overall, the C414 is ideal for vocal recording as well as guitar amp cabinets. However, many professional studios still use the 414 in stereo overhead configurations for tracking drums.

Rupert Neve Designs 542
The Rupert Neve Designs 542 brings the magic of tape emulation into the 500-series format. The 542 meticulously recreates every aspect of recording to a vintage magnetic tape machine.
This includes precise pre-tape level adjustment, as how hard you hit the tape will determine the engagement of effects like saturation and soft clipping. While the drive meter gives you a reading of the level at the tape head, there is a selector switch to choose between 15 and 30 IPS.
In addition, there’s also the red and blue Silk texture circuit you find on many renowned RND studio tools. The only drawback of the 542 is the price, combined with the fact that you’ll want two of them for stereo use.

Follow the Thomann link.
On the EU store, those RME prices are the same as they usually are. Are these deals only for the US?
