Superbooth 2019: Endorphin Ground Control modular performance sequencer
Endorphin.es reveals Ground Control – a 42hp wide 4-track performance sequencer for your Eurorack.
Ground Control
We only have a few details at the moment but this is looking pretty comprehensive. You’ll notice immediately that they’ve packed a two-octave keyboard onto the front panel which lets you play and record sequences on-the-fly. It can handle 24 projects of 24 patterns and each pattern can be up to 64 steps. It has 4 tracks, 1 dedicated to drums with 8 trigger outputs and the other 3 given over to the melodic with CV/Gate outputs. CC and velocity can be recorded via MIDI.
It has DAW integration via USB and a host a MIDI controller. It also has a power supply built in that can power your rack or you can connect it to your existing bus power.
You can record live or in step mode and there are cool things such as an arpeggiator, roller, pattern queuing, live note removal and quick transpose.
I think the fact that it has an 8 trigger output drum track in addition to regular tracks makes this a very useful sequencer. I’m looking forward to how the workflow goes.
