BE SOOPER
Over 3 days in May, the world of electronic music and instruments will be firmly fixated on the wonderfully weird FEZ-Berlin. Over 150 exhibitors will be showcasing their electronic musical instruments both in the venue and in the surrounding outdoor areas in tents, huts and bungalows. There will also be a program of performances on different stages around the site.
The founder HerrSchneider says:
Last September‘s SUPERBOOTH21 was described by all participants as the best yet, despite a lower number of visitors. We want to reflect on this again for our anniversary and would like to surpass it. The possible expansion to a trade fair for other (musical) instruments at the Berlin location holds great potential: Techno and electronic music continue to be our basis, but the respectful mixing with the craft of other professions opens many new doors.
What other professions is he talking about? Well, for the first time there will also be a SOOPERgrail element which is an independent trade fair dedicated to the art of guitar building. There’s already a lot of crossover between guitars and electronic applications and it’s hoped that these two events will be a catalyst for further collaboration, interest and experimentation.
You can either buy tickets just for the smaller SOOPERgrail fair which is on Friday and Saturday or for the larger SUPERBOOTH22 which runs from Thursday to Saturday and includes access to SOOPERgrail.
