If you’re looking to go Dawless, this is a great opportunity to save on some exciting creative instruments for your studio. Let’s take a closer look at the offers available:

Novation Circuit Tracks

The Novation Circuit Tracks is an intuitive performance-orientated groovebox with four drum tracks, two synth tracks, and two extra MIDI tracks for sequencing external instruments.

The built-in battery gives you up to four hours of playtime, and there’s a microSD card slot to load samples or save projects when you need to. Without relying on a screen, the Circuit Tracks helps you to develop a feel of the interface without needing to glance down every time you touch the controls.

In addition, the sequencer has some impressive features like micro-timing control, step probability, and pattern mutate to keep the creativity flowing, and the integrated effects add colour to your sounds.

Arturia MicroFreak

The Arturia MicroFreak is a compact hybrid synth with a 25-key touch plate keybed with polyphonic aftertouch. The versatile oscillators have various synthesis modes including Karplus Strong, Harmonic OSC, Superwave, and Texturer.

What’s more, you also have a flexible modulation matrix, and most of the controls can be accessed on the fly for intuitive performance-style operation.

Behringer Pro 800

The Behringer Pro 800 is a polyphonic desktop module inspired by the Sequential Circuits Prophet 600 from the era as the Roland Juno 6. With 8-voice polyphony and two oscillators per voice, you can create lush pads and bright chordal stabs.

With the poly mod section, you have some interesting ways to shape your sounds, and the inclusion of a noise oscillator allows you to add more texture and bite to leads and basslines.

Meanwhile, the Pro 800 is also Eurorack ready and can be installed as an 80 HP module. Besides MIDI, it also has filter and sync CV inputs and an additional patch port for the main output.

Novation Bass Station II

The Bass Station II continues the legacy of the original Bass Station, a budget monosynth introduced by Novation in the mid-1990s. Although one might not call it a classic, the Bass Station II has many similarities to the famous Roland SH-101.

The two oscillators give you four waveshapes, including sine, triangle, sawtooth, and pulse, and the filter has a Moog-style classic mode as well as an acid mode to recreate those 101 and 303 sounds.

In addition, there is a step sequencer for creating basslines and melodic patterns and a distortion effect for extra flavour. What’s more, until January 31, you get the Arturia Analog Lab Intro free with this purchase.

Elektron Digitakt

The Elektron Digitakt remains one of the most popular samplers around, with its high-quality audio engine, intuitive workflow, and versatile sequencing capabilities.

It provides 8 mono sampling tracks for recording and playing back imported audio, and then you have 8 MIDI tracks that can be used to sequence other external hardware.

Meanwhile, the Digitakt supports Elektron Overbridge and can be used as a USB audio interface. This makes it an easy process to get new samples into the Digitakt, or transfer files into your DAW.

There are things related to international markets that I do not know. in this case, I often buy from Thomann and I live in Italy. I see that the price for the Digitakt is indeed very low in dollars, but if I add it to the cart and select a destination, I can see the whole world available but Italy. Following the usual link on Thomann I can of course purchase the Digitakt but at regular price. Pity. But I’d like to understand better.

Although the pricing may be slightly different in your region, it is still discounted. In this case the Digitakt is 849 Euro instead of 949 Euro. We generally use US dollar pricing as a large component of our readership is based in the US.
