t.akustik Tube Traps: Control the bass in your studio or rehearsal space
Sometimes, small things can make a huge difference. Bass traps can help to control the low frequencies to improve the sound in your studio, rehearsal space or even in your home cinema. The new Tube Traps from t.akustik (a Thomann brand) are tube-shaped bass traps that fit into any space. And they come in five colors to match any interior.
t.akustik Tube Traps
The cylindrical Tube Traps are made of acoustic polyester foam. The high density of the material ensures a high degree of bass absorption. All variants feature wooden top and bottom plates. According to the manufacturer, the Tube Traps are made of flame retarding materials, which is of course a very good thing.
With a variety of fabric covers to choose from, the t.akustik Tube Traps can be as unobtrusive or eye-catching as you’d like. You can choose from Black, White, Grey, Bordeaux or Creme. Personally, I’d probably lean towards the simple variants, but if you’d like your bass traps to make a bold visual statement, that’s possible, too.
