Tascam Studio Bridge: A Versatile 24-track Recorder
Record up to 24 tracks via DB25 I/O
The TASCAM Studio Bridge is a 24-track recording interface designed to bridge the perceived gap between the analogue and digital worlds.
In recent years, TASCAM has built a great reputation with its Model Series recording mixers. Now with the Studio Bridge, the aim is to give users a convenient way to record directly from an 8-bus analogue console.
TASCAM Studio Bridge
Whether you prefer recording to an SD card or your DAW of choice, the Studio Bridge offers a simple solution with 3 sets of DB25 connections for the 24 channels of analogue I/O.
In addition, the Studio Bridge functions as a 24×24 audio interface with 24-bit 48 kHz recording capabilities. When you connect the Studio Bridge via USB, its HUI/MCU compatibility allows transport and record arming of channels with Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Digital Performer, Cubase, Live, Cakewalk, Studio One, Reaper, and Cubasis 3.3.
With each of its 24 channels, you can quickly flip assignments from analogue inputs to USB source, as well as monitoring and arm channels for recording. Furthermore, you can also send a monitor or click signal for live recording situations.
Overall, the Studio Bridge is a great tool for those who are still attached to analogue mixing desks. In addition, it’s also a useful recorder for live sound environments that is quick to set up and easy to use.
