TC Electronics’ Corona Chorus Anniversary Edition is a limited run TonePrint version of the nearly 40-year-old Corona Chorus/Flanger pedal that was among the company’s first products all those years ago.
40 Years
The original pedals were only recently discontinued due to lack of component availability, having been made for nearly forty years by TC Electronics and being one of their first ever products. They were always popular and have been used by many famous players over the years. TC’s solution is to reissue the old pedal as a TonePrint sound for existing users of the standard green pedal and to bring out an additional limited run of the Corona pedal that looks like a scaled-down version of the old unit.
TonePrint, you’ll all no doubt remember, is compatible with iOS, Android, PCs and Macs and allows you to modify, store and share settings for your TonePrint-enabled pedals.

Green or Black?
The regular modern day TonePrint version of the Corona comes in a green-coloured box, whereas this new limited run will come in the classic black colour scheme. It will, however, be slightly scaled down, as modern pedals aren’t as large as those old originals. It also includes the aforementioned “meticulously” modelled TonePrints of the original black TC effect.
Owners of the regular green version will still be able to access all the TonePrint Corona sounds, including the new ones. So kudos to TC for making these available on all versions.
