TC Electronics to launch JUNE-60 Chorus Effect pedal
TC Electronics is a pedal maker that we have covered often here, a brand with a lot of history that is now part of the Behringer stable. Recently, videos have surfaced that indicate that TC is planning a new Juno-style chorus pedal. It’s all a bit murky at the moment, but should it prove accurate, this bit of news is certainly of interest to guitarists with a soft spot for retro pedals.
JUNE-60
So what’s the evidence? We have seen video evidence of a recreation of the analogue chorus made famous by the Roland Jun0 106 keyboard. I owned a Juno 106 myself and part of its charm was that warm, albeit quite noisy, chorus effect. With all of two settings it was super basic but really great sounding. Now it looks like TC Electronics are going to turn it into a pedal for use on the guitar!
Juno-106
I have now heard and seen reports and rumours about this pedal on a number of sources and so it appears likely it will happen. Fingers crossed we will see this one sometime in the not too distant future. The putative June-60 pedal was first seen at the Guitcon convention in September – see the video below for evidence. The pedal has also been spotted on social media including Instagram here and also on Facebook this week.
TC Electronic has been owned by Behringer since 2015, a company that has been ‘inspired’ by other companies’ designs many times in the past. That lends even more credence to the idea that this is a genuine upcoming product. Let’s hope so, as I for one think that this old 1980s style analogue chorus would sound great on a guitar.

Why do people assume it’s the 106 when it clearly says 60 on the pedal ? I mean it’s the same chorus but I’d assume it’s from the Juno-60 😀
