Tegeler has recreated the Raummaschine as a plugin for your DAW
The Raummaschine plugin is a creation of one of Tegeler’s most intriguing hardware designs.
The unique hybrid reverb unit combines a high-quality DSP engine with analogue tube circuitry, two dual triodes per channel, as well as input and output transformers.
Raummaschine plugin from Tegeler Audio
With the same controls as the hardware version, Tegeler has meticulously modeled each aspect of its sound. You can use the Raummaschine plugin both inline or parallel, with the flexibility of your DAW as an added plus.
As Tegeler’s first plugin recreation, the expectations are high but if the quality of their hardware is anything to go by, the sound should be excellent. You may have concerns about the demands on CPU, but with Apple Silicon support this isn’t likely to be a problem.
Pricing and availability:
The Raummaschine plug-in drops on June 1, but it’s currently available for preorder at an introductory price of €79,90 from the Tegeler official site. Until May 31, every preorder qualifies as an entry to a raffle in which you can win a Creme bus processor.
Supported formats include AU, AAX, VST, and VST3, while minimum OS requirements are Windows 7 (64-bit) and OSX 10.7 (64-bit), on Apple Silicon or Intel platforms.
All major DAW systems are supported, such as Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Nuendo, Studio One, Bitwig, Reaper, and Reason.
