Teisco Interface pedal: Integrating your DAW and effects with your pedalboard
Teisco have come up with something new: the interface pedal. This is a different approach to connecting your guitar to a DAW. It puts an audio interface into a pedal enclosure, letting you output audio from your DAW into your guitar rig while placing your pedal effects into your signal chain.
Teisco Interface
As far as we can tell, this is a pedalboard-based audio interface that accesses your DAW and plug-ins and allows you to place multiple effects from your DAW anywhere in your signal chain. It supports dual mono inputs and stereo outputs. You can even run two guitars through the Interface pedal at once.
Features
- Controls: Gain A & B, Level A & B
- Power and connecting to your DAW via USB-C
- Sample Rate: 44.1kHz
- Bit depth: 16 bits
- True bypass
You still need a computer of some description to use this, of course. But you can bypass the DAW and any loaded effects completely by engaging the footswitch. And it’s true-bypass, so it won’t negatively impact your signal when you aren’t using it.
This could be a very useful tool for live musicians, as long as the latency is super low. I look forward to hearing more about this one from users once it becomes available later this year.
RRP – USD 129
