The Harley Benton DC-Junior FAT gets a makeover – now in Benton Blue
New Benton Blue finish
Harley Benton has added a new colour to its popular DC-Junior FAT double cut model. These stripped-back guitars are no-nonsense rock and roll machines. And now you can have one in Benton Blue!
Harley Benton DC-Junior FAT in Benton Blue
The Harley Benton DC-Junior FAT is now available in a Benton Blue finish with a white pickguard and pickup cover. You still get the Fat ’59 mahogany neck and body of the original, plus that ebony fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. But now you have the option of choosing this subtle new finish, which seems to work well on this style of guitar.
P90D Stacked
The guitar features a single Roswell P90D Stack STK4P Alnico-5 Dog Ear humbucker that is wired via single volume and tone controls. Other hardware includes a Graphite nut, a WSC Wrap Around bridge and a set of Wilkinson vintage-style machine heads with 15:1 gear ratio.
Single Pickup, Fat Neck Tone
With such great specifications, and at this low price point, I can see these being very popular. Especially if you are a fan of fat necks. I do like single pickup guitars, and also appreciate a larger neck profile, so for me this is a winning formula. It’s the same reason I’m such a fan of the recent Epiphone Jared James Nichols Gold Glory, it shares a similar philosophy.
