The new BOSS TU-05 is the latest rechargeable clip-on tuner on the market
New rechargeable clip-on tuner from BOSS
BOSS has a new wallet-friendly, rechargeable clip-on tuner. The TU-05 could be perfect for players looking to keep their instruments in tune, without having to keep replacing batteries.
BOSS TU-05 clip-on tuner
The new clip-on TU-05 tuner from BOSS may not be the most exciting product of the week, but with four modes including chromatic, guitar, bass and ukulele, plus up to 10 hours of battery life, it is a very well spec’d one. It’s high contrast, large colour display makes it super easy to see what’s going on, so it would be ideal in both daylight or on dark stages.
Wallet-friendly tuner
The TU-05 can be calibrated between 431 and 449 Hz, which should cover most stringed instruments. And those four modes I mentioned earlier, should get you in tune straight away. At this low price point, with all its features, it is a bit of a bargain. Especially with the super-handy rechargeable battery.
USB recharging
The rechargeable battery should give you around 10 hours of continuous use, and a handy auto-off feature kicks in after 5 minutes of no activity, so you won’t waste any charge between tuning. When you need to recharge it, just plug in the included USB charging cable into a standard USB power adaptor (not supplied).
