Pigtronix has just announced the new Infinity 3 Deluxe Looper and a Universal Remote to go along with it. This new version supersedes the Infinity 2 model from 2020 and offers even more looping fun.
Infinity 3 Deluxe Looper
Pigtronix states that its Infinity 3 Deluxe Looper offers latency-free looping and can provide users with instantaneous record, playback, dub, undo and redo, all on two stereo loop pairs. This latest version comes with an upgraded set of discrete analogue limiter stages, along with what Pigtronix calls a transparent analogue pass-through. It also features a 24 bit HD recording engine with a variable sample rate that can be incremented in semitones over two octaves.

Recording/Loop time
You get an insane 3 hours of recording time on up to 50 loop pairs! I imagine that should be quite enough for anyone, giving you plenty of loop time to experiment with. You also have MIDI control and an ‘intelligent MIDI clock jitter correction’. This means you can integrate the looper into a DAW or MIDI setup with relative ease. You may, for example, want to sync it to a drum machine, or maybe a MIDI click track.

Universal Remote
The Universal Remote houses three momentary footswitches which are compatible with digital effects pedals from Pigtronix, as well as other manufacturers’ pedals. You connect your effects pedals using a standard TRS ¼” cable, and use the Universal Remote can perform three independent functions.
Pigtronix Universal Remote
The Left footswitch shorts the Tip to Sleeve, the Right footswitch shorts the Ring to Sleeve and the Center footswitch shorts both Tip and Ring to Sleeve simultaneously. This could be a handy add-on for any player that needs extra control, especially in a performance setting.
