Bass traps are especially useful in the average rectangular-shaped room as they target low frequencies. As low frequencies spread omnidirectionally, the corners of a listening environment are a good starting point.
A well-treated acoustic space will allow you to measure low frequencies more directly, rather than allowing the frequency doubling that can occur when sound reflects off the walls of an untreated space.
The LF-D 60 Bass Trap will reduce the amount of indirect or reflected lows present in your studio, resulting in a more neutral overall monitoring environment. The absorption uses a high-quality polyester acoustic foam with a density of 45 kg/m³.
Meanwhile, the material sits on an HDF plate with a diameter of 3 mm, which is lined with CPL laminate. The acoustic foam and the rest of the material are also flame retardant (according to FMVSS 302 burning rate <100 mm/min) and the dimensions are 600 x 600 x 325 mm (H x W x D).
