According to EHX, this mode deactivates the LFO for the flanger, virtually freezes it and makes it a filter that makes the sound metallic.

Controls
It has three controls available: Color, Range and Rate – plus the toggle switch to activate the filter matrix.
The true-bypass dry output allows users to split their dry signal from the wet signal.
