ThorpyFX ER-2 is a Uni-Vibe Chorus/Vibe pedal that has two switchable voices. This new modern-day Uni-vibe effect goes way further than the original design could ever reach.

The ThorpyFX ER-2 has controls for intensity, speed and volume, plus 2 footswitches for on/off or Vibrato/Chorus as a switch.
But in addition, there is another controller called Offset. This influences the ramp-up of the lamp inside. Specifically, the ramp-up effect.

UK Built & Designed
Adrian Thorpe the UK designer and maker of this new effect has a solid reputation for offering unique takes on classic guitar effect circuits. He is no slouch when it comes to great design and high-quality builds, so this latest pedal is up amongst some of his top work.
The ER-2 was named after a flying plane that orbits the Earth at high altitudes. This new pedal certainly goes beyond what most guitarists would expect from a classic Uni-Vibe and so the name is very apt.
Bomb-Proof
The pedal enclosure has recessed knobs, a sloped front and top-mounted jacks. These all add up to a bomb-proof professional pedal that will stand up to the rigours of touring.

Hendrix Tones
If as a guitarist you want those classic Jimi Hendrix tones but also want to go further than just a regular Uni-vibe, then this latest UK -built pedal could well be for you. I think the demo videos below sound pretty amazing and I have yet to play a Thorpy FX pedal that I don’t like.
For such a high-quality Uni-Vibe pedal, it is remarkably affordable, as many units are £500 plus in this category of effect, and that is if you can still find them.
