t.akustik PET Vocal Booth
With the PET Vocal Booth, you get a 204 x 100 x 100 cm recording environment that is easy to assemble. This is an ideal solution for recording vocals, voice-overs, and solo instruments.
The idea is to remove the unwanted ambience from your recordings, so you are left with nothing but clear, clean signals. No longer do you need to worry about a passing car or your neighbour’s cat featuring in your songs.
Inside the booth, you’ll find a shelf where you can place your laptop or tablet while you write or rehearse your vocal parts. In addition, there’s a port where you can feed cables to the outside world and a useful headphone holder. Meanwhile, the booth is lit up with a pair of LED lights and there’s also a note holder for those who still use pen and paper.
The construction of the booth is sturdy, with its 25 mm PET 3000g per square meter walls. What’s more, when it’s time to record, you can seal yourself in with the magnetic curtains. Overall, it’s a well-designed solution that can instantly improve your recordings.

Just in case it helps anyone, I’ve tried a lot of these type of products. Outside of constructing an actual isolation room, the most effective temporary booth I tried was buying a collapsible “canopy tent frame” and hanging multiple layers of acoustic blankets to surround it. Very good for vocals, foley, and small instruments. If you have space for a larger one, of course you can do more. Zero wall damage, and can be packed up easily if you don’t need it all the time.
