UK Guitar Show 2018: A new two-day event for Brits mad about guitars
A new two-day show for guitarists is coming to London in late September and will feature some of the best electric and acoustic guitars, equipment and, of course, demos.
The UK Guitar Show 2018
The show is being held on 29th and 30th September at the Olympia in London, a large enough venue to cram in the various areas that include a Vintage Zone, Gear Hall, Tuition Clinics, Panel Discussions, a European Guitar Builders area and the Main Stage.
You can also meet some artists, though these have not been announced as yet and I would imagine there will be some celebrity Master Classes etc. (In contrast to shows like Musikmesse, visitors will also be able to buy products. Ed.)
Exhibitors
The list of companies attending includes Marshall, PRS, Vox, Takamine, Faith, Shergold and Peavey. But it is early days yet and I am sure there will be more announced nearer the time. It would appear that the show is being run by the same people that ran the London Bass Show and the London Drum Show.
Could be an interesting show, although perhaps a little pricey (unless you get an early bird ticket). But if you are in London that weekend and into your guitars then it’s definitely one for your calendar.
Tickets – Early bird tickets £17.50 for a day or £25 for the weekend or £20 and £32 for the weekend regular price
