W.A. Production MultiBender is a new delay plug-in that lets you go crazy with multi-band processing, crush and detune effects and more. This isn’t your average vintage tape delay!

If you’re thinking, “why would I want another delay plug-in”, take a closer look at what MultiBender has to offer. Sure, the latest plug-in by W.A. Production will do simple repeats, too, if that’s what you want. But its strength lies in the many creative options that arise when you introduce multi-band processing and added effects.
MultiBender splits the input signal into three frequency bands. There’s an analyzer view that helps to adjust the boundary frequencies. Each band is linked to the global delay controls at the top, but also offers its own set of controls. This means that you can use different delay times and feedback values on your bass frequencies, your mids and your top end, which opens up vast creative possibilities. Needless to say, all of the delays can sync to the song tempo if desired, with straight, dotted and triplet note values on offer.
In addition to this, each band features a set of three effects (saturation, bit crushing and detuning), which can be applied to the delayed signal. For example, you could tighten up the low end with some bit crushing, use a wavering delay and a bit of detune in the mids and apply some saturation to the high frequencies for a sparkling treble range – all at the same time.
MultiBender also offers a HAAS control, which creates a subtle stereo effect by offsetting the timing of the left and right channels ever so slightly.
While you may not technically need another delay plug-in, MultiBender’s many creative possibilities make it hard to resist. If you’re into unusual delays that wander off the beaten path, you should probably give it a try.

The plug-in runs on macOS 10.15 or higher and Windows 8 or higher in AU, VST and AAX formats (32/64 bit).
